Building Pedagogical Futures in the Present. Dispatches on How to Imagine and Design an Otherwise

Tuesday 7th June 2022, from 12:00 - 16:00 BST / 13:00 - 17:00 CET

We would like to report you to Building Pedagogical Futures in the Present. Dispatches on How to Imagine and Design an Otherwise, a half day event part of the ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership project FUEL4Design: Future Education and Literacy for Designers.

FUEL4Design is a 3-year project jointly delivered by the European consortium of leading HEI partners: Oslo School of Architecture and Design (NO), Politecnico di Milano (IT), Elisava (ES) and University of the Arts London (UK).

Building Pedagogical Futures in the Present. Dispatches on How to Imagine and Design an Otherwise is a dialogic space to explore the transformative power of design education and the urgent need for futures literacies, underpinned by the intellectual outputs of the FUEL4Design project. It will focus on, and expand from, a showcase of the work produced by the FUEL4Design partners from 2019 to date.

Together, we want to imagine an otherwise of design and futures education. Collectively, we wish to foster more just and ethical communities of learners, guided by principles of care, respect, and responsibility.

We aim to bring together a diverse group of educators who are interested in taking part in this conversation, and we think that your experience and expertise are invaluable.
