From 27 October 2022, one year after the death of Vanni Pasca, Professor at the School of Design at the Politecnico di Milano, ADI Associazione per il Disegno industriale (Association for Industrial Design) has promoted five travelling talks to remember one of the most important Italian protagonists of the history and criticism of design, in the cities where he worked and taught: Milan, Florence, Naples, Catania, Ascoli Piceno.

The meetings resume a format that Pasca himself devised for the ADI General Department: Design da leggere is still the title of an annual cycle of appointments open to all, to reflect on the state of design through current and significant books and articles, with the presence of the authors.

These five meetings start, in the same way, from a text, a comment, an article, a preface, a book by Vanni Pasca, taken in the present with the words of the people who have accompanied him in his work. In five Italian cities that were significant stages in Vanni Pasca's activity, those who met him, collaborated with him, listened to his proposals and developed them remember him, in the streamlined and concrete form of a talk and outside any formal celebration, choosing from his writings those that in each person's opinion underline the best qualities of the cultural legacy that Pasca left to Italian design.
