Tech(&)Democracy
Milano Digital Week
October 14, 2024, 3:30pm - 6:30pm CEST, Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli, Viale Pasubio, 5, Milan
As part of the Milan Digital Week, the Department of Design, ORBIS, NEUROCLIMA and the Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli are pleased to present Tech(&)Democracy, an event that explores the role of AI in democracy, between light and shadow.
Deliberative democracy is an area where technology is increasingly influential. Building on the themes of the two European research projects ORBIS and NEUROCLIMA, the event will feature three conversations with technology and new media experts and local organizations on as many topics:
CHAPTER 1. How can technology support "informed" decision-making and policy-making? With Marco Deseriis & Roberta Tassi
CHAPTER 2. Citizens and awareness of technology in deliberation. Towards a new digital literacy? With Davide Leo & Franz Purpura
CHAPTER 3. Deliberative democracy supported by technology, empowered by AI, what next? With Alice Casiraghi, Alessandro Gandini, Maria Francesca Murru
