Rethinking well-being by envisioning digital solutions seamlessly integrated into daily life“, a 10-days design-led workshop during which students from design, engineering and management will work collaboratively to imagine a new concept of “care” in 2030 enabled by new emerging technologies and design new tech solutions for more sustainable and ethical futures.
Multidisciplinary teams will explore the potentialities of some of the most promising digital technologies proposed by 6 selected tech-driven startups and SMEs and will be mentored by international experts from various fields.
What is a Learning Lab?
Learning Labs are workshops organized within the ERASMUS+ funded project titled "Digital Creativity for developing Digital Maturity future skills" (DC4DM) and they represent an opportunity for learners and companies to learn about a new Design Futures methodology to think and design in a digitally mature way, developing creative skills to identify opportunities for innovation through the application of digital technologies.
The DC4DM project, coordinated by Politecnico di Milano’s IDEActivity Center, aims to implement, apply, and disseminate within a European network of HEIs, SMEs and startups, business incubators, a human-centered educational model able to develop and empower digital creative abilities to achieve digital maturity. The DC4DM project’s partners are Mines Saint-Étienne, Télécom Saint-Étienne, Universidade da Madeira and StartUp Madeira.
