27 June 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Bocconi University, Room 35, Via Sarfatti 25

Davide Fassi will participate in the Bocconi University workshop “Infrastructure and services for an inclusive city”.

The availability of infrastructures and services is a fundamental element for the well-being of people and the development of territories: roads, public transport, water and energy networks directly influence the quality of life and support socio-economic activities.
Alongside these factors is the importance of access to essential services such as education, health and social opportunities, which are crucial conditions for community inclusion and cohesion. However, access to these resources is not always equitable. In many cities and regions, social groups such as women, the elderly, people with disabilities, young people or residents of remote areas face physical, economic or social barriers that limit their use and benefits. In addition, climate change and increasing urbanisation pose new challenges, making it urgent to rethink current models.

The workshop aims to provide a space for discussion on how to make infrastructure more inclusive, safe and sustainable. The aim is to identify regulatory, financial and operational solutions to reduce inequalities in access to urban services and infrastructure, promoting fair accessibility for all citizens and contributing to the construction of more inclusive, resilient and just cities.
