Metadesign and Interiors. Designers’ voices and approaches
A new MOOC by Polimi DESIS Lab

The course developed by the Polimi DESIS Lab research group promoted by METID – Politecnico di Milano and available on the Polimi Open Knowledge (POK) platform is now online.
Metadesign and Interiors. Designers’ voices and approaches examines the professional practices of established architects and designers, offering an in-depth look at the metadesign processes underpinning their spatial projects.
Through video interviews, the participating professionals illustrate methods and approaches aimed at the replicability of design solutions, within a framework that reflects an "industrialised" vision of interior design. The course provides analytical tools to understand how metadesign principles are applied to real-world projects, covering a range of contexts including retail, exhibition, hospitality, and urban spaces. Each contribution focuses on exemplary projects that concretely demonstrate the application of these principles.
