PAD Journal Recognized as a Class A Scientific Journal by ANVUR

The Department of Design at Politecnico di Milano is pleased to announce that PAD Journal – Pages on Arts & Design, directed by Professor Maria Rita Ferrara , has been officially recognized as a Class A Scientific Journal by ANVUR – the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes for the Design area.

This important achievement confirms the high scientific standards that the journal has reached over the years, the solidity of its editorial process, and the quality of the contributions it publishes. PAD Journal has distinguished itself on the international stage for its focus on research in design, material culture, and the socio-technical transformations of contemporary living.

The Class A classification further strengthens the mission of the journal: to promote new research perspectives, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and support publication formats capable of expanding the field of design studies at an international level.

Published by AIAP – Italian Association of Visual Communication Design, PAD Journal features peer-reviewed contributions from scholars, researchers, and professionals in design and the applied arts.
