Polimi Jewelry Podcast

The image depicts the cover or a promotional slide for the podcast "Portagioie - Polimi Jewelry Podcast." The design is minimalist and elegant, featuring a white background adorned with a cascade of gold and silver stars of various sizes flowing across the composition. In the bottom right, text in gold and gray lists the names of the professors and tutors involved in the Jewelry and Accessory Design project, while the Politecnico di Milano logo is positioned in the bottom left.

Portagioie is an original project created by students of the Jewelry and Accessory Design degree course at Politecnico di Milano.

What constitutes a piece of jewelry today? Is it an expression of wealth or creativity? A symbol of status or beauty? An investment? An accessory? Is it a display of craftsmanship, a fashion statement, a work of art or a design statement?

Portagioie is more than just a podcast. It is a journey into the world of jewelry, exploring its meanings and values, eras, geographies, disciplines, and technologies. Ten episodes explore jewelry as a research territory, balancing tradition and innovation.
