From February 12th to 16th, the annual Workshop Week organized by the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano will take place. Five international faculty teams, hosted by the master's courses in Integrated Product Design and Digital Interaction Design, will lead as many design workshop experiences on cutting-edge topics, where design culture becomes a matrix for connecting other cultures and disciplines.

In this edition, the workshops will be led by teams of designers and researchers coordinated by Duy Phong Vu, Marie-Thérèse Cassidy, John Thakara, Daisuke Ishii and Pieter Desmet.

More than 120 international students will have the opportunity to learn and understand business design processes and methods, to develop concepts for new products, services, systems and experiences, and to seek innovative solutions in various fields, according to the proposals of the participating faculties and companies.

In this context, the third edition of Design Talk will take place on February 14th at the ADI Design Museum. For one week, designers from different cultural and professional backgrounds will discuss the present and future role and potential impact of design culture in an ever-changing society, where disciplinary boundaries seem to shrink and the physical and digital intertwine, creating new opportunities.

Participating in this dialog will be Antonella Andriani, ADI Vice President; Francesco Zurlo, Dean of the School of Design at the Politecnico di Milano; Margherita Pillan, Coordinator of the Master in Digital Interaction Design; Venanzio Arquilla, Coordinator of the Master in Integrated Product Design.

The whole experience is a concrete opportunity to get in touch with design professionals and different cultures, as well as the companies and institutions they represent.
