Prototypes and Exhibit

It is an area dedicated to design, realisation and experimentation in the field of interior and industrial product design. The student in the Laboratory faces both the spatial context of domestic, commercial, exhibition, business and transport spaces, as well as the realisation of models and prototypes for design and industry, without forgetting the artistic sphere. The Laboratory, supporting students and didactic courses, combines traditional craftsmanship and the latest prototyping technologies.

Modelling and prototyping

  • Large area equipped with workstations, including professor and video projection stations
  • Space for full-scale reconstructions (10x10x7 m)
  • Overhead crane for lifting up to 2.5 T
  • Hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery (disk and belt sanders, belt saws, drill press)

Digital equipment

  • Areas equipped with workstations, including professor and video projection stations
  • 3D printer area with 2 Formlabs (resin), 3 Deltawasp, 4 Ultimaker U3, 1 Ultimaker S5
