SCIVOLA. L'accessibilità dei luoghi per eventi

Project Website
The image depicts a poster for an event or performance titled "do I? SITE-SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY." The composition, set against a white background, shows a person from behind dressed entirely in black (long-sleeved shirt, tight pants, and socks), whose head is completely wrapped in or replaced by a large, bright red amorphous sculpture that resembles the texture of crumpled plastic. In the bottom right corner, there is the "schuko" logo, featuring a stylized icon reminiscent of an electrical socket or a simplified face.

Research project winner of a CARIPLO call, co-financed by Fondazione Cariplo 'Territorial Projects for the City of Milan' for initiatives in the 'Environment', 'Art and Culture', 'Scientific and Technological Research' and 'Personal Services' sectors.

The action-research project stems from the need to make venues for public events of national and international importance more accessible. The aim of the research project is to plan, define and implement temporary micro interventions to improve the accessibility of events, testing the validity of a participatory and multidisciplinary design approach. Project selected in the ADI INDEX XXVII 2020.
