3gA 2025
Abitare il cambiamento
From November 20 to November 22 2025, Sala Maggiore, Palazzo Comunale di Pistoia
The new edition of the 3 Giornate di Architettura returns with a rich programme centred on the theme “Abitare il cambiamento” (“Inhabiting Change”), offering three days of lectures, round tables, and dialogues addressing the urban, social, and environmental transformations that are reshaping both the present and the future of dwelling. The initiative brings together designers, scholars, academics, and professionals engaged in rethinking models and strategies for more sustainable and inclusive cities capable of responding to contemporary challenges.
The event adopts an interdisciplinary perspective to investigate the role of architecture within the broader dialogue between technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and the emerging needs of communities. Particular attention is given to the new scenarios generated by digital and ecological transitions, and to the visions capable of inspiring possible futures for territories, built environments, and forms of dwelling.
As part of the programme, Annalisa Dominoni will deliver the talk “THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE FUTURE: LIVING IN SPACE”, scheduled for Friday 21 November at 11:50, within the session dedicated to “Models of Dwelling for the World We Wish For”. The contribution examines how space research and extraplanetary design can inform and redefine terrestrial models of dwelling, offering new design perspectives across extreme environments, advanced technologies, and future imaginaries.
The event is open to the public and represents an important opportunity for dialogue on ongoing transformation processes and on the design trajectories that may guide future change.
