9th Italian Yacht Design Conference
The Sea of Tomorrow
November 27, 2025, from 1:30 pm, Aula De Carli, Building B9, Bovisa Durando Campus
The 9th edition of the Italian Yacht Design Conference is ready to welcome designers, representatives of the nautical industry, scholars, and professionals from the sector.
The event is organized within the Yacht City project, a hub dedicated to training and developing new professional profiles in the yachting world, hosting the activities of the Master in Yacht Design and the Executive Course in Interior Yacht Design of POLI.design.
The Conference is the result of the work carried out by the scientific committee composed of Professors Andrea Ratti and Arianna Bionda from Politecnico di Milano, Antonio Vettese, editor-in-chief of Yacht Design magazine, and with the contribution of Stefano Pozzi, coordinator of the Yacht City project.
The 2025 theme, “The Sea of Tomorrow”, will guide the conference through the exploration of key issues for the future of the discipline: from the health of the oceans, to ocean sports and competitions, and the role of yacht design in the evolution of super and mega yachts and in the broader transformation of the industry.
A highly relevant topic in a moment of significant evolution for the nautical sector, in which Made in Italy continues to achieve record results.
