'Embryo' project is among the winners of the IF Design Student Awards
Award

Embryo - Every Beat Matters, a project developed by student Matteo Vicentini as part of the Final Synthesis Laboratory of the third year of the three-year degree course in Industrial Product Design 23/24, has been awarded the iF Design Student Award.
Embryo is a fetal ECG monitoring device designed for use at home to ensure the safety of both mother and baby in high-risk pregnancies. It detects fetal distress, such as hypoxia or asphyxia, by analyzing the QRS complex via ECG, providing crucial support to expectant mothers, while reducing hospital visits. It is ergonomic, wireless, and seamlessly integrates into clothing with its customizable fabric cover.
