InTransit is an international project funded by the European Union with the aim of stimulating the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, the cornerstone of the European economy. In order to maintain a successful position, the textile, aerospace and construction sectors must necessarily increase ecological and digital practices and adopt innovative social and business models.

InTransit fits into this context by acting as a connector between SMEs that stand out for successful innovative projects, offering a collaborative and open online platform that will provide support services, knowledge exchange, training and collaborations, as well as commercial and consultancy services customised at a strategic level.The project will also support SMEs in finding the necessary funding and assistance to ensure their resilience.

The research strategy will be based on four key pillars:

  • Incubating a range of services to support SMEs in identifying market opportunities, needs and weaknesses by fostering learning and exchange of good practices and collaborative development;
  • Innovation support for SMEs through customised consultancy services, including self-assessment, circular/digital diagnosis and coaching/training at strategic level;
  • Transition project development for SMEs with cascading financial support;
  • Market up with additional customised services using additional private or public funds.
