The students and the faculty of the Master's degree in Product Service System Design (PSSD) at Politecnico di Milano - School of Design are pleased to invite you to the exhibition of the results of the “CityMatters_Stretching | Connecting and Integrating Fondazione Aldolfo Pini” design studio 2023.
Nine future scenarios for activities/services and systems in the spaces on the ground floor (+) of the Fondazione Adolfo Pini will be exhibited.
This work is the result of nine groups with students from Italy and the rest of the world working together over a period of two months.
During these weeks the students had the opportunity to know, understand and interpretate Fondazione Adolfo Pini also thanks to the dialogue with the Commisioner, Marco Garegnani, and its Cultural Department, Silvia Bolamperti and Francesca Zaja.
The exhibition will be held on the 13th of June, from 17:00 to 19:00 in the spaces on the ground floor of the Fondazione Adolfo Pini at Corso Garibaldi, 2. The students and faculty will be present to discuss the project proposals with you.

“The nine proposals developed by the student groups are intentionally diverse, and therefore encompass a range of different topics and themes. These include transforming the Foundation into a hub for innovation where art and technology converge, creating a space dedicated to art and wellbeing, establishing an incubator for young artists, and fostering support for artistic ventures, etc. All of the proposals include new or improved activities, services, systems, products, and spatial conditions in order to enhance the role and activity of the Foundation in its own context both in the neighborhood and at the city level”.

“As the restoration project inside the Adolfo Pini Foundation's stable continues, I am pleased to open the doors of the ground-floor space to Polytechnic students. The work being presented is, again, a resumption of the original vision of the Pini family: that the Foundation is and will be in dialogue with its fellow citizens, starting from the very neighborhood where the Foundation is located. The design workshop with the international students of the Master's Degree Course in Design of the Product Service System of the Milan Polytechnic was an experience of dialogue, the results of which we can observe today”.
